A Two-Phase Operational Rollout

The agreement will be implemented in two key operational stages:

  • Initial Exports: A first shipment of PN3 boars will be exported from France to Ukraine before the end of 2026 to initiate commercial operations.
  • Local Production: In the second phase, Agrifood Consulting will develop local production to ensure a continuous supply for Ukrainian farms.

Technical Features of the PN3 Boar

The selection of the PN3 boar is based on targeted technical and economic performance criteria:

  • Feed Efficiency and Growth Rate: The feed conversion ratio (FCR) stands at 1.99 with an average daily gain (ADG) of 1,246 g/day for the top 10% of the selected population.
  • Carcass Yield: The muscle mass of the PN3 is selected to optimize slaughter yields.
  • Meat Quality Safety and hardiness: NN selection (halothane-free) to drastically reduce stress-related mortality risks typical of the Pietrain breed and insure superior meat quality (Driploss reduction, Optimal pH, and high % of lean meat).
